A friend ran across this family photo that belonged to his Great-grandfather (the man on the left). He was involved in land deals with Native Americans in the 19th century. Does anyone know who he's standing next to? I was wondering if it might be American Horse (I could be way off). Thanks! Attachments:

I enlarged your picture, enhanced it a bit, and compared it to a known picture of American Horse. They appear to be two very different men with facial features totally different. My 2ยข anyway...

No reply yet from the Indian photo experts, but I agree. He looks familiar, but I don't believe he is American Horse.
