Does anyone in this community have any interest in forming a living history group with the objective of doing not for the public rides and events? I have access to a ton of land in Colorado that could be used for such an event. I am not trying to step on anyones toes etc. I would just love to see some sort of living history in place for Indian wars fans. I have quite a bit of experience organizing living events. My last was "Drive On Stalingrad". We moved over 350 re-enactors over 15 miles with period tanks, half tracks and trucks. two separate villages to fight over multiple engagements etc. There is a ton of footage on you tube under Drive on Stalingrad. This is possible to do for the Indian wars period. This would not be a "money making / profiteer event". There has to be a group of guys that would like to do this. Anyone? Scott, I have been scouring my bookmarks attempting to find an Indian Wars message board I used to frequent a couple of years ago. Many of the participants were actual living historians who volunteered at frontier forts. Unfortunately I could not find that link. As much as it pains me to do this, check out www.thelbha.proboards.com and ask for...I'm choking on giving his real name...Bill Rini. He seems to have a handle on the various horsey groups (I'm not a horsey person in case you didn't guess) doing the Indian Wars reenactments. Be good, Billy

Just fon't call him the "Animated Action Figure". Yeah, he seems to get highly wrought up over that. By the way, if you go to him, be sure to tell him that I referred you. I'd like the gag reflex to be mutual. Just in case you didn't notice, Rini and I don't like each other. Good luck, Billy
