I live in Hardin MT only about 15 miles from the LBHBF. My Father grew up on Reno Creek and I have relatives who still live on Reno Creek. I`ve roamed the area since I was a kid and Know the area very well. I`ve been interested in the battle ever since I can remember. Just found this sight and am looking forward to reading the information here. Looks like a great sight to hang out in. Redneckpaul

Hi Paul. Welcome to the boards. We can always use your expertise. I spent almost a week there in June and never made it up Reno Creek. Did my share of dragging main in Crow Agency on the way back to the motel in Billings. Course you know the place well as there were a lot of rednecks hanging around there. Which was much better than dragging main in Deer Lodge as that place is dead.
Hope you have your camera ready, gas in your car, and your season NPS pass handy as we always need some instant gratification to solve some disputes. Can you identify the steep cliffs in Morrow's 1879 photo and tell us where that photo was taken from? Thanks.

Also over on Reply # 19 of the The Lost Crossing Place - Ford C which is the current thread where the only current custer battle discussion is going on here on this board. bc

Hi, Paul. It's nice to have you here, and it's nice that you are so willing to help us.
The next time you're around the Fort Custer General Store, please stop in and tell Charlene I said "hi!"

Diane Thats funny I work for the Postal Service as a letter Carrier and just said hi to her today when I delivered her mail. My cousin is married to her daughter. Its a small world and a small town! I like her store, I could stay in there for hours. Paul

I haven't spent as much time with Renae, but I think I met your cousin several years ago. It's a great all-American family, and I love spending time with all of them.

Hi Paul. A belated welcome from another Montanan, I live just south of Helena. These boards have a wealth of information. I try to get over to LBH a couple times a year. It would be great to live close by.
