Hi all, My name is Simon Mawson, I am a long time Indian Wars/Civil War buff. I have majored in History in College and am currently toying with getting a master's in History. Besides Indian Wars/Civil War, I am interested in anything Sports related. I am a new member and I just wanted to drop in and say Hi.

Hi Simon, and welcome to the Little Bighorn Learning Center, Nut House, and Aluminum Siding Corporation.
I am the designated welcomer, and unless I welcome you, you ain't welcomed. BTW, I posted a response on your Keogh/Custer or vice versa thread. You should also check out the stuff posted on the thread devoted to Keogh, probably on the Members of the Seventh Cavalry board . Where was I?
Oh, yeah - Happy Birthday to me!!!

Welcome Simon. Join in. Over in the nut house you can help put together the Little Big Horn football team. Be advised that Terrell Owens is subject to being cut, suspended, or traded.

Good luck, Gordie. Sounds like the definition of loose cannon to me.

I aint worried - I allus intended to go heeled anyhow.
I'll take my chances, and dare the great dare, look danger straight in the face, defy the odds, damn the Fates, brave every hardship, and stay near the Dairy Queen.

PS They's four in Billings, one in Hardin, and one in Sheridan, so I aint got fur ta go. Research are the key, as I keep tellin everbuddy

Research are the key, as I keep tellin everbuddy Nay, my friend, analysis is the key. Good analysis of poor research is FAR preferable, and more useful, to the very best and accurate research with very poor analysis. <g> The greatest persons of our history have not been the ones that had the best facts, but rather, they are the men and women who have made the best decisions with the leanest of facts, eh?... So newbies at studying LBH DO have a good shot at contributing in a useful way, getting back on subject... ConZ
