Anyone else have a copy of this? I'm curious, as I bought my copy on eBay for 40-odd dollars after searching for months.
Am I the only one who has it?
And does anyone else agree that it has to be, by far, the best soundtrack ever used for a miniseries? Its easily the best thing about the movie. I think it'd be a great score for a major hollywood production, let alone just a two night mini-series.

hello el crab, I'm about 2 years too late here so if you are still around I'd just like you to know that, you are not alone in having the soundtrack, I bought it too and feel much as you do that it is certainly one of the best aspects, if not the best, to the film. Along with the story if had a profound effect on me. I was interested to read Craig Safan's comments that he used some of Ralph Vaughan Williams compositions to influence his own ideas of what he wanted to do here , which rang true for me as one of my favourite pieces is 'Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis' and if you're familiar with that work, you might agree with me that there are certainly strong echoes of it in Mr Safan's score. When I first saw the film I felt I had heard these themes before someplace I've since made my own cd of this as I wanted to include the hymn 'Nearer My God To Thee', which I've included at an appropriate point. see you,

Have you seen what the CDs are being offered for on Amazon?
The cheapest one is 132 dollars right now. Of course, that's what they're being offered for, not necessarily what they are worth.

oh my goodness, I'm in England and I've just checked on our Amazon and it's selling for £101.93. ....I recently sold my copy for about £5.00 - can you believe this? which I suppose is about 8 dollars or so to you people... I note on Amazon it says for the condition ''Used - Very Good'' ... .... yeah, I bet that was mine

A shame. I thought I stole mine at 40 dollars. It was and is pristine, as all I've done with it is listen to it once or twice, rip it to MP3 and its been in its case otherwise.
If I could get 150 for it, I'd sell it in a heartbeat. Its fun having a CD that apparently is valuable, but so is a 110 dollar profit.
