Hi there, I´m new to the forum, hope to find some help. I have got the following map:
MAP NINE IN A SERIES OF SEVENTEEN
THE MAKING OF AMERICA
"CENTRAL PLAINS"
Produced by the Cartographic Division National Geographic Society, National Geographic Magazine, September 1985
The map "Central Plains" is fantastic and I would love to get the one which shows Montana, Wyoming and Dakota. With Little Bighorn on etc.
Sunny South African regards

Welcome to the boards. You may be our first South African member [or first located there]. In any event, I'm not familiar with the series of maps you mention, but would suggest that you try contacting National Geographic, if you have not already done so. The series may well still be in print. You might also try eBay.
Regards,
Gordie

You could try Google Earth, though I'm not sure if you can print them off.

I think that's the map that came with the December 1986 Nat'l Geographic, with the cover "A Long, Last Look at Titanic". I have several copies of that one, though I don't know how many of the maps I have (I know its one fore sure). But that issue is what got me interested in Little Big Horn.
