I do not hate the bagpipes. I think I've seen The Longest Movie... I mean ... The Longest Day.. in the past year. Didn't know someone had 'colorized' it though.
And ... the story about the Canadians during the D-Day landing is true. At least as far as my being told so by Mr. Mahoney. I knew him when I lived in Florida and have been out of touch for many years now. Don't know that he could tell me just which Canadian Regt. was in the boats next to him in line. He just thought they were 'INSANE' - his word.
The Black Watch of Canada (combined band) has been to Atlanta on tour, and YES, I went to see them. GREAT performance! Inspiring. I almost jumped on the field and started marching with them.
