I like shiny stars. Shiny medals too. They flash so gaily during a senseless a charge. While the added weight makes it a little tiring for the stretcher-bearers carrying us off the battlefield.... It's really nothing compared to the statues they'll be raising to us.

Statues, especially those promised and never delivered are overrated. CSS siad he would erect one on my lawn when I gave him some information he was seeking. Never appeared, unless it's really tiny and shaped and colored like a blade of grass, in which case, I take it back and applaud the artist.
