Yes, let's hear it for the governor of Montana, who has told Homeland Security where they can go with their threats! Apparently Montana's driver's licences are not condiered "tamper-proof," and will no longer be valid for boarding an airplane as of June 1st. I will be driving to LBH this year, and so will not get to see all the fun that will undoubtedly ensue at the Billings airport.

Here in NH the governor is always looking for a way around the license issue, with the usual threats by the Feds about not getting federal dollars, etc.
The Feds also make a big deal about not giving money to local libraries if they don't "cooperate" with the government about books and internet use by patrons?
Nothing wrong about security, but when the rights of US citizens are compromised then the "bad" guys win.

Let's hear it for NH! I do believe it to be the most freedom loving state in the union. I've always thought so and every time I hear something regarding them I feel even more so. They have the least use for the federal govt. too and I like that. Would that more other states took lessons from NH.

Most libraries have taken to destroying their records as soon as the books are returned--that way they have nothing to offer if questioned.
