Fred, You were so nice to describe your WWII game and save me from going to the dictionary that I have to confess: I googled the quote to find out who said it. I do, however, enjoy Oscar Wilde!

From our discussions on another gaming site:
Fords: The two ford locations listed in the scenario set up instructions are only known to the Indian player at the start and must be scouted by the US player to be revealed. During set-up the Indian player places one ford marker (? side up) on each ford. It is only revealed when a US unit (any, including a leader) is adjacent to the ford (in either of the two hexes that share the ford hexside). I should have included this in the scenario rules (At Start Notes) and also in Rule 7B3. Fords, on page 3. The Indian player may cross the real ford without flipping the marker. Yes, by doing that the ford becomes "known" to the US player, but leave the marker there because he may just forget later on. Of course, the Indian player can temporarily remove the crossing unit (s) as it approaches the ford and then replace it (them) once it is beyond the ford (say, by two or three hexes). Both sides would have to agree to this before hand. If playing solitaire place the markers at random and use the same rule for the US player above for the Indian side (must be scouted by an Indian unit).
Ammo VPs: Unfortunately I omitted to include how to award Victory Points for the optional ammo rules. The 1VP for each ammo point listed in Rule 15D Victory Points (page 12) is when using the normal ammo rules. When using the optional ammo rules (Option #2, page 12) the Victory Points should be 1 for every ten ammo point boxes (round down). 1-9 = 0VP, 10-19 = 1VP, 20-29 = 2VP, etc). There are two distinct ammo systems for the US player; the normal rules and the optional rules. The normal rules use the 6 points per pack train unit, with ammo depletion dependent upon the die rolls. Only markers are used (no bookkeeping on paper). With the optional rules you ignore the die rolls (for ammo depletion only) and mark off boxes as the unit fires. Of course this means using tha ammo chart. I would photo copy it and use the copy.
For some reason the counter layout was altered after being proofed and 1 Cheyenne villager counter was left off. Bruce told me that this unit will be sent to everybody who has already received the game. Sorry for the error.

Hey, Mike--
Stop sweatin' the small stuff. Old pros will pick this stuff up; but it's nice to know ahead of time. Your game-- & I haven't received mine yet-- looks beautiful on the Web. Besides, owning one like this is sort of like owning a mint sheet of U.S. postage stamps where they accidentally printed the plane upside-down. When you're rich & famous, Diane & I will be able to gloat over our editions.
Besides, when yhou work out all the kinks, just put it on these boards & I'll print it out as a "rule addendum." Just make sure you're proud of your work; you've done a beautiful job.
Best wishes, Fred.

And Diane--
If you love this stuff, you would flip out over Panzer Blitz. Quite frankly, I think it is the absolute, all-time classic of battle board games. One of these days I'm going to get my wife to play it w/ me. She is hyper-competitive & once hooked... who knows. If it's possible to get "hooked" on these things, Panzer Blitz will do it. That's why I'm looking forward so much to seeing Mike's.
Best wishes, Fred.

OK, here's our battle plan, Fred. You put the game in your car when you're moving to Houston. You and Lisa can spend the night here (we're about a half hour south of I-10), and we'll have a battle!
Which makes me wonder . . . I-10 stretches across the entire country. How many of you live within a half hour of I-10? I know Guidon7 does! (Where have you been, by the way?)

Diane, Here's a website devoted to "Panzer Blitz". Study it hard, then when Fred shows up, you can have him eliminated in an hour or two. Then send him to Houston with his tail between his legs!!! ALSO, Vegas already has you as a 2.5 to 1 winner!?!? hometown.aol.com/ssbtdoom/pbone.htmGood Luck, Jim

I can't believe[/b] you guys! Wait'll I tell Pennington there's a conspiracy on his Website that makes the RCOI cover-up look like a pansy in a tulip garden!
(I couldn't get into that "Panzer Blitz" or "Panzer Leader" link on that site, so you may have an advantage there. Oh-h-h well! I guess I'll just have to use my old military bean, the old tactical know-how to...
... beat the h--- out of any challengers!)[/b]
Love & kisses, Oberst Fritz

Mike
Having been given Waddington's Little Big Horn board game as a boy, I am delighted to see this new edition to the boardgame market. Computer games are fine but they are not as exciting as playing an old fashioned boardgame where you have to think on your feet. I tried to order a copy online but could not access through PayPal possibily as my works system probably blocked the connection. Could you ask Kyber Games to reserve a copy of the game and I will attempt to use the PayPal link at home.

Mike--
I ran into the same problems w/ PayPal as Kevin did, so I sent Khyber a check for $29. The check has cleared, but so far no word of anything. (Watch, I'll go to the post office tomorrow & the game will be sitting there.) Can you gingle their bell or should I try?
Best wishes, Fred.

Fred and Kevin, All the games have been sent out as far as I know. If you haven't received them yet please e-mail me directly at home and I will contact Bruce at Khyber Pass Games. They are all good fellows up there and will not take your money and run. Once they know about a problem they will bend over backwards to get it right.

Fred,
I just found out that you have not received your copy of the game. I am very surprised because the guys at KPG are usually very good about getting the games to their customers. Please send me an e-mail to the address below. I will need to know when and how you paid for it. I will also need your mailing address. I will pass this on to KPG. One way or the other you WILL get the game in your hands!
