I'll make it as easy on you as possible, Gordie!
Anyone who would like to submit a review should send it to me at LBHA@cox.net. It can be within the body of the e-mail or as an attachment. Either way is fine. I'll forward the fiction titles to Trish and the non-fiction to Brad. Once I get their OKs, the reviews will be posted.
If reviews have already been published -- such as Scout's on Alibris -- they won't need to be reviewed by the editors because they've already been on the Internet anyway. I just need the reviewer's permission to reproduce it, and I also need to know if he wants his real name used or a screen name.

GAC,
You do make some excellent points. I am somewhat new to this topic and in no way pretend to be an expert. On the other hand I do believe I can 'moderate' the reviews in that I'll urge people not to indulge in personal slander.
Personally, I welcome debate on any person's interpretation or research as long as it remains objective and civil. I come from an environment in which the true test of any idea was in critical examination. I see myself as simply moderating the rhetoric in the rare cases.

In a sense, I do agree with GAC's concerns ... a quick example that comes to mind is that of Glory Hunter: A Life Of General Custer, where just about everyone agrees it's a beautifully written narrative, but extremely biased in the negative. For me, seeing a "real" name attached to a given book review--which would need not necessarily be required to be further posted--could help me in assessing its quality and purpose.
Mostly, I'd be trying to keep the writer's style clean and easy to read, and look for something, whilst critical, does not lower to personal attacks. I do try to keep up with LBH fiction, but if I haven't read a particular work, I certainly have a few friends with rooms of the given materiel.
