Another from the "Not From the LBH File".....I was running a dive boat out of Grand Cayman back in the '90's. As the vessel gets farther from shore, the water changes from a light, aqua blue to a deep dark, rich, blue. I had a lady ask me to stop the boat at varying spots so she could collect samples of the different colored water. But when she got them in the jars and on the boat, she exclaimed: " But now it's all clear". To which my 1st mate; a kid from England, said: "Well, you have to hold it up to the sun, Love." So she did...By now everyone on the boat was DYIN'.... God I love the Dive Business.
Respectfully, Duane.

My stepdaughter lives in Alaska. She has told us about passengers who get of the cruise ship and ask some whoppers. For instance: (remember now, getting off a cruise ship...) “What’s the elevation here?” “What language do you speak here?” “What currency do you use here?”

My favourites are "Where do the Vikings live these days?" and questions about wheter trolls still live in the wild or not. Noggy

Not LBH-related but still funny. I worked at Yellowstone for the 2017 season at Canyon Village in the Adventure Store as a cashier. The first question asked of me was "When are all the animals let out?" The second one was "are we allowed to feed these animal crackers to the animals?" After realizing the woman was serious, I replied to the first question that the animals at Yellowstone are not caged, and in answering question #2, the animal crackers were for human consumption only. Needless to say, all of us employees and other guests in the store were trying not to laugh. 😂😂😂
