Been a lurker here for quite a while and I will confess right off the bat that Custer is my guy. That being said, I look forward to much debate, particularly on Benteen's actions on his left oblique.
I realize many here are Veterans of our Military and for that my hat is off to you, that is one regret of mine not serving. Sat in Army recruiters office week after graduating with a BA in Ag Business, wanting to go to Ft Rucker and learn choppers. Went farming instead.
Hope to keep it civil,
Buckwheat. From Montana

Buckwheat, welcome. Some civil disturbance maybe, but your opinions are as good as mine. I think if we look, there is as much commonality as there is difference. Again welcome.
Regards, Tom

Buckwheat, I have enjoyed your fair state on a couple of occasions, not just the battlefield. Prairie dog shooting in Roundup on a side trip last year and knocking around back roads with family 25 years ago. Recently nearly took a part time job with BLM up there.

Thanks Guys!
Yes Steve I copy u from the other board,,,June still up in the air here.
My BIGGER goal is perhaps this September to ride as much of the trail from Busbee onward, including Benteens route post Crows Nest. Nothing like being there in person horseback as you can appreciate.
Have numerous friends in the area and torn between using those friendships vs paying a group adverising a similiar trip. Not to be a racist but rather a realist, no way to come out ahead dealing with a Native Tour Guide trip on a rez if things dont pan out. Been there done that on other dealings in Mt.

FRED!!! HOW THE HELL ARE U!!?? Buckwheat, I am doing well. And you? I think you will enjoy it here; these are really good people and there are no agendas. The only thing asked here is that opinions and accusations be supported without distorting facts. I would like to believe things are run here in an intelligent, civil, smart fashion. Everything I have ever seen you post fits quite well into those criteria. You should thrive here. Best wishes, Fred.
