I just ordered my book from McFarland Publishers. $55 plus $2 shipping plus $3 handling for a total of $60.
I'm glad it is finally published and I look forward to reading it next week.
Congrats to Fred on all his hard work and research. I am sure he wrote every thing I told him over the years.

Has the furor died down next door? I am almost afraid to take a breath with that idiot haunting the boards. Looks like he may have run out of honest, literary steam.
Best wishes, Fred.

The first "outside" review of the book was sent to me today by the publisher. It was done by some organization called The Council on America's Military Past, aka, CAMP. Does anyone know anything about this group?
Best wishes, Fred.

Does anyone know anything about this group? Best wishes, Fred. Founded in '66 so they have been around a while. Non-profit focusing on military history, education and preservation. Good review? Mark,
Yes... actually, a darn good review. Not only of the book, but of the writing style, the maps, the pictures, and the approach. I was delighted with it, especially from a military-type organization. To me, that is important. What I also liked a lot was the reviewer's acceptance of the "event flow" and his emphasis on the three principles I discussed in the book. So, yes, I am extremely pleased with it.
And thanks.
Best wishes, Fred.

Fred,
Don't tease us. Post the review, or a link to it.

Hey, I think it comes in as a download... if you all can read it, please let me know and let me know what you think about it.
Thanks.
Best wishes, Fred.

It came down as a collection of reviews across a variety of sources (Facebook, boards and amazon) but I didn't see the review from CAMP
