Carl,
This post made me go back and read Graham in the past year. Graham takes a very straight forward approach, a military approach, an unbiased and unemotional approach. I once had the books, but gave them away. Got the two on Kindle platform, very reasonable. While Graham did not have the 1980's archaeology information his books are as complete as many of the later tomes. Thanks again Carl.
Regards, Tom

Carl,
Did you ever have the opportunity to meet Graham? I know he was from your neck of the woods.

It irks me to no end, to have a charlatan who never served a day in his life diss Colonel Graham for lack of field experience, when he spend time as a Company commander in the 1916 Mexican border call up of the National Guard.

You have to admire his interrogation skills and how he deftly allowed Goldin to lie himself into a corner. Would have hated to face him across the aisle. Stolen valor comes in many disguises from those who wear medals or qualification insignia they have not earned to stealing literary material and rework it promote or support another's view to claim as their own.
