I just got this book today. It cost me 134.00 in trade credit from the local bookstore, but that credit only cost me probably 13.00 in actual money spent.
I've not read it cover to cover, but I've looked at most of the pages. While I've spotted some errors and typos, the sheer volume of photographs, especially ones that I've never seen, is amazing. Well worth the amount of money this book costs. I really can't imagine a Custer book collection being complete without this one.
One question: Are they all signed? Because when I looked them up on Amazon prior to ordering, there was no indication in the listing that it was a signed copy. I had the bookstore order a new copy, since there were several available and the "used" copies were the same price.
I wasn't too surprised that it was signed, given its relative rarity, the market it is created for and the pricetag. But does anyone else have a copy (I know you do, Fred), and if so, is it signed?

My copy is signed as well but I ordered mine directly from Swanson. I have seen the book at the battlefield bookstore. It's in a locked glass display case.

If I recall correctly this book was limited to 2500 copies. I bought mine at the battlefield visitor's center while they still had them. It isn't signed.

Sounds like I lucked out then, stevewilk. I'm gonna finally update my list of Custer books, now that I've gotten this one and Fred's and have decided I'm keeping another one I originally acquired to resell...
