I never meant for that post to be taken in quite as alarming fashion as it was. I never had any intention of "departing," as such. I am, however, extremely touched by what I have read here and by the personal messages and the phone calls.
After speaking with Tom last night; after I get a few minutes to return Steve's call; and after seeing all your posts, I relent.
I shall make a greater effort to participate more... maybe even with "jodak's" marvelous WWII work... and maybe even starting a "Barbarossa" thread... who knows? But certainly with more LBH stuff.
I can only say thank you all.
Very best wishes, Fred.

I made an error and looked at the other board. A poster with no knowledge of tactics, or the Army, is claiming the proper distance between companies on an attack is 4 miles. He is using McClellan's guidance for corps. A corps consists of 3-500 companies. Not knowing the difference between a corps and a company is standard in the LBHA.

Do you mean to tell me that today's Army has no need of person with his finger on the pulse of the Native Americans ranging free on the Western Plains and with the skills to send the hostiles back to the reservation, is not needed in the fights of the 21st century? Obviously the author of the quote below has no comprehension of what he has read and is unable to regurgitated the contents without his "special insight" as what the author intended.
"I think we can understand that MacClellan was indeed referring to what we call in today's military vernacular, an 'advance or movement to contact,' as opposed to a simple march. The distanced he gives us for the advance guard unit under such circumstances is from one and a half to three miles in advance of the main body. "
Will we should all praise God that keogh had that chicken dinner meal with the Colonel in the Pentagon were he gained his basis for his strategy lessons today. What a shame he did not enlist but not being guaranteed a slot in the Armor he choose to work with children instead. Regards Dave

You are not suckering me in to go there again!!!! I have two venues remaining and I have even cut back on the other one. I do not enjoy being a target for idiots, so when the idiots show up, I leave unless they are banned. Works just fine. Best wishes, Fred.

I am one idiot that is banned, I understand your thought process, Fred. It is the other two that were wronged!

Diane,
Don't worry. I will keep you posted if it starts getting dicey.
Best wishes, Fred.

Finally!
The fanboy/NAMBLA site has gone inactive. Hopefully it is gone forever. Too many lies, too few rational thoughts.
Good riddance.
Diane, thank you for waiting this out.
Respectfully,
William

A friend emailed me a few hours ago, saying thelbha.org website is down due to non-renewal. Are the message boards gone also?

A friend emailed me a few hours ago, saying thelbha.org website is down due to non-renewal. Are the message boards gone also? Tried searching and just get spinning. Could be gone for good or simply technical problems. Maybe this explains why Rini has been so active on FB page, Little Bighorn Discussion Group today. Trying to get new acolytes? Best, David
