35th FS were at Moresby early mid April '43, an advance echelon, the fighting wing, 35th & 36th deployed at the end of the month from Australia via Horn Island, and minor disaster which lost half their strength en-route due to poor weather and navigation.
I am rather fond of the postcard image which was purchased at exhorbitant expense form the US via Ebay, some number of years ago. It is mine, to do with as I please. Didn't mean to offend, I am here to teach and entertain and believe I do both rather well. You're so, so lucky to have me here and some gratitude wouldn't go amiss.
