There has been a photograph or two supposedly of Roman Nose wearing a full headdress and with other Indians . . . but nothing definate. I don't believe he even spent any time on Reservations and by being killed so early in White-Indian warfare the chances of him being photographed is unlikely.
The "tin" reference may be the lead that was used to make the tin cans which resulted in mental derangement if one consumed a lot of food from tin cans. I believe an artic expedition suffered deadly results from that.

Yes, the Franklin expedition from the lead solder of the cans. Eating little else for some years out of the cans weakened them, is the theory. They had TB and scurvy and pneumonia and much else, though, atop the lead, made worse by cooking in the can. Sounds just miserable. We apparently have to wait for an admission of....well, whatever idiocy that was....regarding the photographs with the "saw mill" and insistence that LSH was Calhoun.

What does that have to do with the subject under discussion on this thread? Maybe you should clean out your cabinets and switch to frozen food.

What do you think the word 'recipients' means? well in my opinion it could also be a pot like in french.. see, your brain not being a good recipient had me made another anglo-latin-franco mixup! ;D yeah by the way where is that gentle funny enthousiastic fellow herosrest that brightened up the autumn on this board! another member scared away by mr niceguy here
