No... it is rather strange. She and I were corresponding here through PMs, but then she suddenly stopped. December 20, 2010, was the last time. A shame.
Best wishes, Fred.

The last I heard was slightly later than that but not by much. I do hope that nothing bad has happened to that good lady as the world needs people of that calibre. Hunk

The last I heard was slightly later than that but not by much. Yep... I wonder.... She and I had it out once or twice, but we patched things up... [my! that seems to be a recurring theme!] and were corresponding regularly. I kept a bunch of her posts because they were extremely good. Odd, how fleeting some of this becomes.... Best wishes, Fred.

Yes, Sadee combines insightfulness with common sense and I was looking forward to a three way series of discussions involving her, me and Elisabeth, but things just stopped before that could begin. I miss her. As to recurring themes, it is quite often the case that what we think of as important today pales into insignificance tomorrow. It should teach us to become better people than we currently are. Salud. Hunk

Athens & the Peleponesse by Rick Steeves . . . oh wait that has nothing to do with the LBH. However, it does have a lot to do with our upcoming trip to Greece.

Crazyhorse, I hope you have the opportunity to visit the site of the Battle of Thermopylae. It had far more significance than the one we are discussing here. Again, have a safe trip. Be Well Dan

Does anyone know what has happened to the lady who started this thread, clw aka Sadee? I have not heard from her in over 8 months now and I am getting no response to my e-mails, which I find of concern. Sadee (as Gordie named her) has had computer problems from time to time. I've got her phone number and can call her if you like. Diane P.S. I just left her a message on her machine, asking her to call me or check in on the boards.

Hey boys! ;D I feel like I'm reading my eulogy. I'm sorry. The computer died, life got complicated and yadda, yadda. Diane's recon didn't work this time -- I must have somehow missed her message or I would have called her. Should have called her anyway, huh?
Fresh start, brand new computer and even finally got DSL! I'm here looking for a topic that will clear out the cobwebs and get me dusting off the books. I've missed this.
