These are the names inscribed on the memorial marker at the mass grave cemetary at Wounded Knee. There are many more burried there, but these are only a few of the names recorded at the cemetary. I've just checked that list against the list of participants at the Little Bighorn. I found several Cheyenne with the same name but have disregarded them. I'm wondering if the following were also at Little Bighorn:
These three Sioux surrendered at the Red Cloud Agency, Nebraska, in May 1877 and may have participated at Little Bighorn : Living Bear, Strong Fox, and Yellow Robe.
Minneconjou: Wounded Hand
Sioux who fought at Little Bighorn: Red Fish
Are these the same men who are listed on the monument at Wounded Knee?
