TreasureDude just got home from his trip with Fred and others to LBH, and he immediately sent me these photos. The first is of Fred (enough said!) and the second features Fred's hands spreading the grass for a very unique marker that I first discovered years ago. I'm surprised they were able to find it! Dude has promised to post more photos soon, but he wanted you to have these ASAP. What a guy!

Does anyone know whether or not Rain Bird was a sub-chief, or simply a warrior society leader?
Gordie, I'll sprinkle your dreams with stardust, little baby, and water your garden with tears..................

I can see how Fred can play Varnum in next year's re-enactment. Great shot, TD: I bet y'all have some stories to tell!
BTW, I wonder where one mines marble with metal screws ... Gordie, isn't that somewhere in Canada near the MacLean Lakes uranium fields?

We all had a great time. Richard Fox and his brother Dennis were great hosts. I have posted a video to YouTube of Fred standing on Weir Point waving a guidon. You can watch the video here... www.youtube.com/watch?v=6oEC2N63qasLots more photos and videos to come.

Keep 'em comin' Dude.
The metal-fastened granite quarry is just outside Elliot Lake, Ontario, which is named for some guy named Joel, who was abandoned somewhere, much like the uranium mines in the Elliot Lake area.
In the interests of accuracy, not to mention the picking of nits [which someone once said make lice], that is not a guidon with which the mighty Fred is almost being blown away, but a copy [one hopes] of Custer's personal ensign. I know this because my daughter once had one on her bedroom wall.
And does anyone besides me see a striking resemblance between Fred and Bill Murray , in the Weasel Fred photo?. Maybe it's the hat.
Gordie, the Elliot Lake Council has voted to save streetlighting costs by having selected citizens stand at intervals throughout the community and take advantage of their natural glow........................

Fred in person doesn't look anything like Bill Murray. It must be the combination of the hat and the laugh.
Dude, I'm glad you got Fred's best side in that video!
Just remember -- I get credit in the history books for finding Rain Bird's marker!

Great video and pictures Dude! Seeing that Big Sky and that wind blowing, I'm homesick now! Look how green it is out there!
By the way, Fred is too handsome to play Varnum. Bab
