Elisabeth--
Both are here ... and I heard that Francis' talk at the CBHMA seminar was quite wonderful!
Walt--
Congrats again on your book!

Walt,
TRUE WEST magazine use to be published in Stillwater before Bob Bell bought it and moved it to Cave Creek, Arizona. Did you ever do any writing for them? I use to do artwork for them. Marcus Huff was the editor back then. I really miss the old TW. The stories were a lot better back then and it had more of a pulp flavor about it. Thanks for the info on signed copies. Good luck on the book sells...it sounds like a winner to me.

Scout; I remember that magazine, it was very good. No, I didn't submit to them, it was before my writing days, I think I was still in the Army then.

Congratulations indeed! I look forward to reading it. Probably of all these guys, only Custer ever really thought people would be writing books about them!

West; Thank you, I think its interesting both your brother and I published at nearly the same time. I hope his book enjoys great success. All my life I have had an interest in French history and I am glad you folks are interested in ours. Now, you better get to work interpreting his book into English. Greenpheon

Hi Walt,
My Compliments Sir on fantastic job on this well awaited book, will look forward to receiving the book once it gets here in UK.
As we portray C Company here in UK I find it more remarkable that you published it on 130th anniversary too. I will look forward to reading it in due course.

I'm pleased to say that the U.S. Army Military History Institute has ordered a copy of "Custer's Lost Officer".
