Yes, this is an excellent site! Diana Merkel is doing a great job here. This site has added goodies not at THC.
The History Channel forum is just that, a forum. But there are some very good contributors there. Besides the ones I have mentioned, other good contributors are Montana Kid, PGBIII, Denali wolf (Native American) and others. Can't hurt.
Yes, I knew there have been some new discoveries. Hopefully they will shed some more light in the dark corners of this history.

Hey Walt: I looked at the site, History channel right? It looks okay had a bit of a time nav=ing it though. Any way I tried to join and log in. It won't let me sign in for some reason. I tried all that was suggested, but it likes to take me back to the sign-up page. And then it says that I need to confirm it by going back to my email and clicking the link. I don't know how many times I tried that one! I guess they don't need new members if one has to go through all that! Heck, I think it'd be easier to catch that hum-v that Jimbo was talking about than join that site. good grief!

Sorry you had all that trouble. I don't recall going through that scenario. Well, maybe you could give it a shot later.

I even tried to contact someone, but that's like trying to talk to Custer himself! I think actually, I'd have better luck! No seriously, I tried about everything, even contacting them to see if I could get some help with it. Just before sending the message it said that they have too many messages and wouldn't guarantee any answers. LOL... Oh well....

Getting back on track here Why do you all feel that Joseph White Cow Bull was lying? What evidence/ source can you quote from to prove that? And what about the uncanny similar statements made by both him and Curley in their observations of what they saw?

RE: History Channel Forums
Yep, I tried to join up and after receiving confirmation could not find the REPLY ICON to give some input!!!!! When I click on a subject I get a blank white screen. I asked for help TWICE from tech support and have not got any response!!!!
Oh . . . well, at least we got this site to contribute to!

I think this is an excellent site. And user friendly without all the hassle!!! ;D It may not have all the experts on it, but I think that's better in the long run for us. Personally I'd rather try to discuss things than to be dominated by someone's personal bias's. Not that I don't have my own. But I am willing to bend if presented with enough evidence. Not sure that happens there too much from what i've read.

Yes . . . this site is very good and mostly objective, compared to other sites where some members react violently and call you bad names if you don't agree with them and continually go off-subject.

Crzhrs; I saw and responded to your posting on THC and so have others. If you go to Indian wars then click on your entry title you will see the responses. Beside each response is a reply icon that reads: "reply"
And by the way, the responses are good, no one called you any names.

Tryin to stir the natives up Walt? ;D It's no biggie. Perhaps he was referring to another place. The WWW is a big place. Oh and before I forget it, thanks Walt for asking that question at THC. Since I couldn't ask it myself, i'm honored that you did! Please if we could get back on subject! Why do you all feel that Joseph White Cow Bull was lying? What evidence/ source can you quote from to prove that? And what about the uncanny similar statements made by both him and Curley in their observations of what they saw? I know the current indian conflict its better!!! ;D Sorry

To Walt Cross:
I was not referring to this site as to the name-calling and insults. I was talking about the Delphi Forums. While there are differing opinions here, no one has responded in a child-like manner or used four-letter words. Your posts are especially professional and full of info. I look forward to more discussions here.
Thanks!

I am unfamiliar with that site other than I looked at the "to join" requirements. I don't like places that ask for alot of personal information, so I didn't join that one. Being annonimous I think is important to alot of people, especially with all of the things going on on the WWW.
Walt's an okay person, really, I've enjoyed his comments alot! I'm quite sure that he misunderstood. That happens alot when one cannot see the expression on the others face.

No, not trying trying to stir anyone up, just the opposite. Both of you are right, I joined Delphi and then quickly retreated because of what you mentioned. Thanks for the kind words.

Actually, I don't think he was lying. My stand is that he told what he knew. His statements play an important role in my book. I found your idea that he was at the D Ford rather than the Medicine Tail Coulee Ford interesting. I'm digesting that.
